Tends to go easy on plaintiffs during discovery, but puts everyone's feet to the fire when it comes time to settle. He is just as good, if not better, than 1/3 of the district judges and probably should have been elevated to an Article III years ago. He is certainly more qualified than Der-Yeghyian (John Ashcroft's most long-term and direct assault on the federal judiciary, in my opinion). He handled that terrorism funding case where the family of the terror victim got that multi-million dollar judgment against Hamas.
