Came to the bench with no prior litigation experience, and it shows in her rulings. Very friendly and professional, but inept.

Has the best demeanor of all of the judges on the Eastern District. Very slow, methodical, friendly, curteous, and smart. Excellent appointment.

Excellent, respectful demeanor that reflects her prior experience and keen understanding of the difficulties that can and often do arise in a civil litigation practice. Extremely smart and brings some much needed practical experince and horsepower to the Eastern District bench. Not, thankfully, a former prosecutor from the US Attorneys office. Opinions are well written and reasoned, and reflect a great deal of respect for existing precedent. The best appointment since Larry Karlton.
